Meet David

I'm David, and I've been cleaning carpets in Maple Ridge and across the Lower Mainland for over 30 years. I started out doing this work myself, van to van, learning what actually gets carpets clean versus what just makes them look clean for a few weeks — and that difference still matters to me every single day. Over the decades I've built a team I genuinely trust, trained them the same way I'd want someone working in my own home, and stayed hands-on enough to know what's happening on every job. This isn't a side business or a franchise. It's the work I chose, and I still take it seriously. Most of our customers in Maple Ridge, Langley, Coquitlam, and the rest of the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver area come back to us year after year — some of them have been calling since the early days. That kind of loyalty doesn't come from flashy marketing. It comes from showing up on time, doing the job properly, and being straight with people about what we can and can't do. That's how I've always run Protech, and it's not something I'm willing to change.

Why We Started Protech Carpet Cleaners

When I started Protech, I kept running into the same problems in the industry — companies that dragged out jobs to bill more hours, or used methods that only cleaned the top layer of a carpet so it looked dirty again within weeks and the customer booked another appointment. I didn't want to run a business that way. I wanted to build something where a customer could call me, trust that we'd show up, do the work right, and feel like they got genuine value for their money. Thirty years and over 50,000 jobs later, that's still the whole idea.
